Curriculum

The educational curriculum at the Undergraduate (S1) Geological Engineering Department has 144 credits (SKS), with a study period of 8 (eight) semesters and a maximum of 14 (fourteen) semesters. The S-1 program aims to prepare students to become intellectuals, scientists who are ethical, cultured, competent, and able to enter and/or create jobs and develop themselves to be professionals. Referring to the Rector’s Regulation No. 15 of 2017 Article 4, competencies are adjusted to level 6 in the KKNI (Indonesian National Qualification Framework).

B. Kampus Merdeka Curriculum 2020

Since August 2020, Department of Geological Engineering has started implementing Kampus Merdeka Curriculum 2020 for the class 2020 and the younger. This curriculum gives students the freedom to not only take courses from the department, but also from outside department or from another university.
