The Quality Assurance Group (Gugus Penjaminan Mutu) The Geology Engineering Department is a work unit that assists the Chair of the Department in supervising and evaluating various academic / non-academic activities in the Department of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University. In addition to supervision, the GPM is tasked with preparing the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) document and making improvements through the revised SOP. All policies contained in the SOP have been based on the Internal Quality Assurance System by Diponegoro University.
Ahmad Syauqi Hidayatillah, ST, MT as head of the GPM of the Department of Geological Engineering, always supervises so that performance and systems that run in the department remain qualified and in accordance with the quality standards of higher education. Under his coordination, 71 SOPs have been compiled as references for various activities such as academic, research, service and staffing (download link).
ISO certification is needed so that the Geology Engineering Department becomes a body that is trusted by the public. After going through various internal level audits, namely the Faculty of Engineering and Diponegoro University, the Department of Geological Engineering together with all departments under the Faculty of Engineering received ISO 9001: 2015 Certification validated by TUV Rheinland on December 14, 2016.
