Diponegoro University Geological Engineering Department student, Mutiara Maulidhya, achieved brilliant achievements in the Taekwondo MBW International Championship which was held on 2-4 August 2024 at the Sri Bachelor & Sport Area Council, National Energy University, Malaysia. In this prestigious competition, Mutiara succeeded in becoming first winner in the Women’s Individual Poomsae category, beating a number of competitors from various countries.
This year’s Taekwondo MBW International Championship event was attended by participants from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Australia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Nepal, Thailand and Japan. This competition not only displays the technical skills of taekwondo athletes, but also the spirit of sportsmanship and friendship between countries. Mutiara’s success not only makes Diponegoro University proud, but also makes Indonesia proud on the international stage.
Mutiara Maulidhya is known as an active and outstanding student, both in academic and non-academic fields. Behind his success, there is hard work and high dedication in training as well as full support from his family, coaches and colleagues. It is hoped that this achievement can be an inspiration for other students to continue to excel and make the nation proud at the international level. With this achievement, Mutiara hopes to continue to improve her abilities and achieve even more achievements in the future. He also hopes to contribute to developing the sport of taekwondo in Indonesia and motivate the younger generation to be active in sports activities and maintain physical and mental health. Hopefully the success of Mutiara Maulidhya will be the beginning of many other achievements that will be achieved by Indonesian students in various fields.
