The campus forum is one of the routine activities held annually by HMTG MAGMADIPA, which aims to be a forum for communication and discussion between students, lecturers, and education staff on campus. This activity provides an opportunity for students to convey various aspirations, criticisms, and input related to department management, campus policies, and existing facility needs. The 2025 Campus Forum, which took place on January 20, was held online via the Microsoft Teams platform. This activity was attended by various parties, including students, lecturers, and staffs, who together discussed various issues that were important for the progress of the campus. One of the issues discussed in this forum was about campus facilities which were still considered inadequate along with the increasing number of students each year. Students stated that the increase in the number of students was not accompanied by an increase in room capacity, so that several rooms on campus were less than optimal to accommodate the increasing number of students. Responding to this, Dr. Dian Agus Widiarso, ST., MT. as the Head of the Department said that the department has submitted a budget to partition room 202, which aims to make the room more effective for two classes at once. The management hopes that this plan can be realized soon so that the learning process can run more efficiently and comfortably for students.
In addition, the department is not only focused on improving classrooms, but also continues to strive to improve facilities and infrastructure throughout the campus environment. Some concrete steps that have been taken are the renovation of the prayer room on the second floor which now has a larger capacity, so that it can accommodate more students who want to worship. Renovations were also carried out on the toilets on the first floor, which are now more comfortable and adequate for their users. Classrooms 103 and 303 have also been updated with the latest standard tables and chairs and the installation of Smart TVs to support a more interactive and effective lecture process.

Facility improvements in Geological Engineering during 2024 include classroom facilities, toilets, and prayer rooms.
Not only that, the department also added laboratory equipment such as microscopes and other practical tools to support student practical activities to be more optimal. All of these changes and updates demonstrate the department’s commitment to continuing to improve the quality of education and comfort on campus. In the future, hopefully the facilities and infrastructure on campus can continue to develop, support academic activities, and create a better and more conducive learning atmosphere for the entire academic community.
