Transfer Knowledge: Geothermal Goes to Campus is an activity carried out by the Directorate of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) as an effort to facilitate education in the field of geothermal energy. The activity was held on Friday (30/08/2019) at the Department of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, which was attended by lecturers and students. The main target is students from the Department of Geological Engineering, which is most related to the theme of the activity.
This activity was attended by representatives from the Geothermal Directorate and practitioners from PT. Geo Dipa Energy, Dieng as the speaker. Mr. Chevy Iskandar as a geophysicist from the company delivered material on the 3G approach (geology, geochemistry, geophysics) in geothermal exploration and geophysical methods for well targeting. Material about economic and social aspects in developing geothermal energy was delivered by Mr. Agus Supriyanto, Human Capital and Finance Manager of PT. Geo Dipa Energy.
The implementation of this activity is expected to be able to broaden students’ insights and generate interest in the field of geothermal energy development in Indonesia.
