Lustrum 3rd is the 15th anniversary of Undip’s Department of Geological Engineering. A series of events was held on 18-20 October 2019. The activities were carried out on the campus of the Department of Geological Engineering and its surroundings, Tembalang, Semarang City.
The Geological Engineering of Diponegoro University was officially established on August 4, 2004, as a result of the willingness and strong ability of the founders. In its journey, Geological Engineering has contributed in human resources in the field of earth science. The alumni have reached various work sectors and spread throughout Indonesia and even some outside Indonesia.
Based on these reasons, the Department of Geological Engineering of UNDIP, IKA Geodipa, and the Geological Engineering Student Association (HMTG Magmadipa) collaborated to hold the Lustrum 3rd event. Activities held include:
- Alumni Mengajar, namely holding classes with 28 alumni as speakers from various agencies and certain expertise, which are participated by active students. Areas of expertise include petroleum geology, mining geology, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geotourism, geothermal, and geopreneur. The event was held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Pertamina Sukowati Building.
- The Geodipa IKA Congress on Saturday, October 19, 2019 to appoint next president.
- Geonostalgia and Charity Night on Saturday, October 19, 2019 which was attended by alumni, staff, retired lecturers, and active students. At this event, participants were invited to reminisce about the history of the Department of Geological Engineering from the time of its founding to the present. Charity activity is providing scholarships from alumni to 8 active students selected. The event was very lively with entertainment in the form of traditional and modern dance, music performance, and drama.
