The Central Java ESDM Office held a Technical Workshop for the Preparation of the Mining Budgeting (RKAB) in collaboration with PPSDM Geominerba and the Department of Geological Engineering, Diponegoro University on July 15-17, 2025 in a hybrid manner. The material provision by the speakers was carried out online with participants who remained gathered in one room, precisely in the mineral resources laboratory of the Pertamina Sukowati Building under the supervision of the Central Java Provincial ESDM. The opening of the Technical Workshop was attended directly by Mr. Agus Sugiharto, S.T., M.T. as the Head of the Central Java ESDM, Mr. Mas Agung Wiweko, S.T., M.T. as the Coordinator of Planning, Standards, and Development Certification, and Mr. Dr. Dian Agus Widiarso, S.T., M.T. as the Head of the Geological Engineering Department, Diponegoro University. The participants of the technical workshop consisted of 20 final year students of class 21. The purpose of holding the Introductory Technical Workshop for the Preparation of RKAB is to create geological engineering graduates who understand the writing of mining documents.
The first day of the Technical Workshop began with an opening remarks, followed by a post-test, followed by presentations by two speakers:
- Mr. Revi Timora Salajar, S.T., M.T., who presented on regulations related to the Work Plan and Budget (RKAB).
- Mr. Arif Budiyono, S.T., M.T., who presented on exploration and technical aspects.
The second day featured presentations by several speakers, including:
- Mr. Revi Timora Salajar, S.T., M.T., who presented on standardization and service business aspects.
- Ms. Herlinawati, S.T., M.T., who presented on environmental protection (management, reclamation, and post-mining).
The presentations were followed by a post-test. The presentations were delivered by:
- Mr. Antonius Alex Harmoko, S.Si., M.T., who presented on mining safety aspects.
- Ms. Herlinawati, S.T., M.T., who presented on mining safety aspects. with PPM aspects.
For each topic presented, participants are assigned to create a correct RKAB document in groups, covering each aspect.
The RKAB preparation training provides students with an opportunity to gain new insights and gain a firsthand understanding of mining RKAB preparation from experts. Furthermore, this training program helps students better prepare for the working world in the mining sector.
