“Batu Akik” or ‘Undip Geological Engineering Student’s Bazaar as an Event for Entrepreneurial Science Creativity’ was held again. This year, the Batu Akik event was attended by approximately 40 tenants who sell and offer various products such as food, drinks and services. There are several other interesting products sold at Batu Akik, such as eco-friendly detergent, educational learning cards, and fertilizer and cat litter which are also present at Batu Akik this time.
Some of the interesting products above include “Zeoclin”, which is an eco-friendly liquid detergent containing Zeolite minerals to help housewives choose alternative detergents to reduce bad odors and reduce household waste. Apart from that, there are “Geo Card’s”, which are educational cards that contain geological knowledge in them. There is also “Zeocat” which sells cat litter made from Zeolite which functions to absorb odors and has an antibacterial effect to keep the litter box clean. Every product offered in Batu Akik this time was sold out when it was exhibited on Friday, June 14 2024 in the courtyard of the Pertamina Sukowati Building campus, Geological Engineering.
The Akik Bazaar is an activity initiated by entrepreneurship lecturers, namely Mrs. Narulita Santi and Mrs. Jenian Marin as part of the assessment of the Entrepreneurship course. Batu Akik must be taken by all students who take the Entrepreneurship course by making products in the form of goods or services as a form of creative entrepreneurship program that is initiated and carried out by the students themselves. Before participating in the bazaar, each product has gone through a market test to get an evaluation of the product produced so that the product is more suitable for marketing. Apart from selling various kinds of products, the interesting news is that this bazaar is open to the public. Not only Undip Geological Engineering students can sell at Batu Akik, but also external parties or students outside of Undip Geological Engineering can also have the opportunity to sell at Batu Akik. We provide the opportunity for anyone to sell at this bazaar as a form of enlivening and also establishing good relations between Undip Geological Engineering and external parties. Apart from that, we want external parties to also experience the excitement of selling at Batu Akik.

The enthusiasm given, both by Undip Geological Engineering residents and external parties, was very good in welcoming this activity. Akik is not only present as a temporary course assignment, but is a fun activity that provides new impressions and lessons for everyone who takes part in it. This bazaar is a forum for every student to develop their potential and abilities in aspects of entrepreneurship. Undip Geological Engineering students are not only required to be able to understand geological aspects, but they can also develop themselves in entrepreneurial aspects which can start from this series of Batu Akik activities. It is hoped that in the future every Undip Geological Engineering student can become a creative student and have the skills to become an entrepreneur.
