IPFest 2024 is a competition activity organized by the Bandung Institute of Technology with a committee from the Student Chapter of professional organizations in the oil sector, namely IATMI and SPE, IPFest 2024 holds several competition categories, one of which is the Geothermal Development Plan Competition, namely a competition in the form of problem solving from a case study using reviewing several technical and non-technical aspects, such as 3G (Geology, Geochemistry, Geophysics), economics and social environment and looking for the best solutions related to geothermal heat in the areas determined in the case study. The series of activities began with work on case studies for collecting abstracts which was carried out in December 2023. One of the UNDIP Delegation Teams passed to the final round and presented the results of the Final Project at ITB on February 23 2024. After going through a series of presentations, questions and answers, and assessments by Judges who are competent in each field, Jessy and her friends were awarded 3rd place or 2nd runner up in an international event consisting of several teams and universities. This victory is not the end of everything but the beginning of everything for the GeoMech team.

Tough. Bravo. Geology!
